Ian began his career working on numerous documentary and drama programs for Film Australia and the ABC including Australian Story, Wildside, Police Rescue and Water Rats. Feature film credits include the Australian classic Rabbit Proof Fence, Parklands, The Nostradamus Kid & Me Myself and I.
In 2000, Ian and Anna founded Limelight Films to produce films and content that supported their passion for health and education promotion in the community.
In 2006, they produced the feature documentary “Honeymoon in Kabul.” The film screening on the ABC in 2009 and winning the US Zero Film Awards LA and New York Audience Choice Award. The film raised $20,000 in charity screenings for Afghan children and is now distributed internationally for television broadcast.
Recently, Ian has collaborated with ABC’s Australian Story on a number of projects including producing and shooting documentary sequences for “Call of Duty” a documentary screened on ABC TV in 2013. The film follows whistle blower policeman Peter Fox and his fight against police corruption and clergy sexual abuse.
In 2017, Ian completed his independent documentary ‘Angels Gather Here.’ The film was selected for the 2017 Melbourne Documentary Film Festival and Newcastle’s 2017 Real Film Festival and was broadcast on NITV in November 2018 and encored in 2019.
Ian has previously lectured in film and television production at UON and supervised a number of AFTRS productions.

As Company co-founder and Producer, Anna brings 20 years of experience as a GP with a special interest in Mental Health and education to Limelight. She also has a wide range of experience in the Film and Television industry going back to her first foray into film in 1989 (Assistant Director. Heroes Mini series).

As Company co-founder and Producer, Anna brings 20 years of experience as a GP with a special interest in Mental Health and education to Limelight. She also has a wide range of experience in the Film and Television industry going back to her first foray into film in 1989 (Assistant Director. Heroes Mini series).
Anna also acts as presenter and co-writer on a number of projects including the Atom nominated Response Ability resources and ATOM award winning ACI Pain Management Network. Anna’s role as a GP is invaluable when it comes to copy writing or refining content particularly for clinician target audiences.
Anna was also involved in script writing, filming, on set script supervision of the ACI Dementia Patient Experience, SCH Trapeze web films, ACI Palliative Care Network web films, and the HNEH Head and Neck cancer resource to name a selection.

Jonathan worked at Limelight Creative Media for 12 years as a full time employee and is now one of our most valued subcontractors. With skills in camera work, editing to graphic design and animation has built up a strong portfolio of work with the health and education sector through his involvement on hundreds of films, animations and multimedia productions.

Noah has been working with Limelight Creative Media for a number of years
as a camera operator and assistant editor. He is currently working as a subcontractor for a number of local production companies while completing a BA Communications at Newcastle University.
