TIME LAPSE PHOTOGRAPHY
Time lapse is fast becoming an essential part of infrastructure projects. It offers real time progress updates to keep stakeholders in the loop, reduces site visits and can even be used as a tool to avoid or arbitrate costly disputes. And on completion of the job the time lapse can be used to give stakeholders a visual high five and generate further business.
Over the last decade we have built up an enviable reputation as the Hunter Valley's leading provider of time lapse coverage on intensive major rail projects. We also specialise in long term construction time lapse as well as demanding short term shots using our 3 axis motion controlled rig. We offer an end-to-end time lapse service, meaning we take care of all aspects of the time lapse, from planning and scouting, to installation and post production, leaving you free to focus on the project. Our time lapse packages have been carefully crafted to maximise value for our clients, clearly listing our generous inclusions.
After extensive testing we are pleased to offer our new 4G DSLR time lapse rigs for deployment. The units are all weather rated, solar powered, and provide lightening fast remote connectivity and backup.
Our rigs are fully customisable to attach to a wide range of supports. Limelight personnel hold Industry Whitecard and Rail Industry Worker certification.
Clients can access the latest shots in realtime via a fully branded web portal or smartphone app. As a complementary extra we include RAW file capture to solid state hard drive on all our projects, often a costly extra with other providers. This lets us capture projects at maximum possible quality, and opens up a world of processing options in the edit suite.
On completion of a project the time lapse footage is lovingly processed using our highly specialised in house workflow. It utilises a suite of software and customised scripts to develop, deflicker and stabilise the raw imagery. Limelight’s time lapse workflow draws upon years of experience working on high end visual effects pipelines and techniques. Our in-house design team titles and brands the finished video, which can be used on video channels, social media or presentations to review projects, update stakeholders or serve as a marketing tool.
