We were commissioned to produce a video at Thiess' Mt Owen site documenting their upgrade to the Liebherr 996. The 996, an enormous mining excavator, formed a pivotal part of the mining process. The team at Mt Owen, working closely with a Singleton-based electrical specialist contractor, devised and implemented a range of electrical upgrades to the 996 to improve performance and reduce downtime.

We filmed over a single day to capture interviews and montage to help explain the complex upgrades.
